No. Shift does not own, operate, or take payment from any pharmacy, and medication is never bundled into your visit price. If your provider writes a prescription, it goes to the pharmacy you choose and that pharmacy bills you separately.

How does my provider decide between brand and compounded?

It's a clinical decision, not a default. Brand products, manufacturer fulfillment programs, and compounded preparations are all options your clinician can consider, and your clinician will talk through what is known and not known about each so you can make an informed choice.
