You always see the price before you agree to a visit. Some visits are priced higher based on what the visit involves, and that price is shown to you up front — never after the fact.

Digital visit

An asynchronous visit. You share your symptoms and history, your provider reviews and responds — a good fit for straightforward, low-complexity issues.

What your visit price includes

  • A visit with a licensed Utah clinician you choose
  • Review of your symptoms, history, and current medications
  • A treatment plan, including prescriptions sent to your pharmacy when appropriate
  • Your visit notes saved in your Shift account for next time
  • Guidance from Navi before, during, and after your visit

What you're never charged for

  • No monthly subscription
  • No membership or access fee
  • No charge to create an account or browse providers
  • No charge to tell you, before you book, that you need in-person care

The part that isn't on the price list

Most virtual urgent care hands you whichever clinician is free at that moment, and the next time you're sick you start over with a stranger. At Shift you can choose your provider and come back to that same person — so the second visit begins with someone who already knows your history.

That continuity costs the same as the visit itself. It's simply how Shift is built.

HSA and FSA

Shift visits are generally HSA/FSA eligible for qualified medical expenses. Please confirm eligibility with your plan administrator. Shift is a cash-pay service and does not bill insurance for visits.

Common questions about cost

When am I charged?

Only when a visit is completed. Creating a Shift profile is free, and browsing providers costs nothing.

Is there a subscription or membership?

No. Shift has no subscription, no membership fee, and nothing to cancel. You pay per completed visit.

What if virtual care isn't right for my situation?

Shift will tell you and point you toward the right next step — in-person urgent care, emergency care, or another kind of visit. There's no charge for that guidance.

Do you take insurance?

Shift visits are cash-pay. Visits are HSA/FSA eligible for qualified medical expenses — please confirm eligibility with your plan administrator — and we provide receipts you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.
